Strike

Strike básicamente significa golpear. Tiene muchos otros significados, pero quisiera remarcar estos dos:

  • Strike = Huelga. “The employees joined the strike to protest about their working conditions”. Los trabajadores se unieron a la huelga para protestar sobre sus condiciones de trabajo.
  • Strike back = Contraatacar. “The empire strikes back“. El imperio contraataca.
