Like it or lump it

Esta expresión se usa cuando no podemos cambiar una situación y no tenemos más remedio que aceptarla, por mala que sea. Se traduce en español como: “ajo y agua”.

A: There’s no coffee left!

B: You can have some tea if you like, is the only thing we have left.

A: But I hate tea!

B: Like it or lump it.

A: No queda café!

B: Puedes tomar un té, es lo único que queda.

A: Pero odio el té!

B: Ajo y agua.

    i live in the US and I have not heard the expression “like it or lump it.” we would say “take it or leave it” which means the same.
